Is 7-OH legal in Idaho?
Yes, as of October 2026 it is legal to buy and sell in most of Idaho. Some Idaho cities and counties ban kratom sales, and Coeur d'Alene caps 7-OH and requires buyers to be 21. A federal ban on concentrated 7-OH is pending, and under the DEA's October 14, 2026 notice its order can publish no earlier than November 13, 2026. It would cover products with more than 1 mg of 7-OH per gram, or less than 100 times as much mitragynine as 7-OH. We will keep 7-OH in stock until that order takes effect.
Do I need to be 21 to buy 7-OH?
Yes. Cub River is a 21+ only store, so you must be 21 to enter and we require valid 21+ ID for all 7-OH, kratom, nicotine, and vape purchases. Idaho itself sets no state purchase age for 7-OH.
